From 2001-2006, CEI’s strategy was focused on purchasing off-market heavy value-add multifamily assets. CEI purchased and rehabilitated over 70 properties comprising approximately 3,500 units. CEI continues to make strategic investments into core, core plus, and value-add assets.

This concept takes traditional value-add and steps it up to the next level by delivering best-in-class amenities, facilities, services and offering solutions to every need a dog owner may have living in an apartment setting.

Deco is a 21-story, 391-unit apartment building located in the heart of the prestigious Gold Coast neighborhood. The property benefits from nearby recreational destinations as well as plentiful transit, retail, grocery and entertainment options. Given the immediate access to the lake and the 18-mile Lakefront running and biking path, the property offers extraordinary views of Lake Michigan and downtown Chicago, as well as Lincoln Park and northern neighborhoods. The business plan consists of a full-scale renovation of both the amenity spaces and units.
